Welcoming Baby Luke

For John and Nataly Dee
Their new son's as cute as could be
At 6 12 he's just right
Neither too big nor light
And his story's bizarre you'll agree

Now I swear that this is no joke
Nat didn't know that her water had broke
The birthing of Luke
Was really a fluke
For you'd think such a rupture would soak

On the day before Lukey came
Nataly said she was game
For a trip to New York
She had time for the stork
And so she set off on the train

And while she was enjoying her day
She noticed much to her dismay
That, what do you know
There was her bloody show
And I'm not talking about a bad play!

Nataly made it back just in time
And the baby is doing just fine
Michael's been swell
He's handled it well
Now I'm done with this little birth rhyme
