For Jeff's Funeral

There once was a Limey called Jeff,
Who was known to his loved ones as Dreffs,
But now he's not here,
Those he held dear,
Reflect on the memories he left.

A man who ate soap by mistake,
Thinking it was cake that he ate,
He looked nerdy in hats,
And worse in ball caps,
But he tried to look cool for Nin's sake.

Always an artist at heart,
He was funny, warm, wise and smart,
A businessman, too,
And a mensch through and through,
The adventure of life was his art.

And though he is with us no more,
Our love for him will always endure,
The best husband and dad,
Our hearts are so sad,
Now he's skiing forever, I'm sure.
