To Kristen on her 35th Birthday

There was a lady called Zimmer
Who's youth just got dimmer and dimmer
Then one Christmas she slipped
And fractured a hip
And the future seemed without a glimmer

But don't worry, just wait now and listen
How that plucky young lady called Kristen
Was determined to mend
After all to transcend
And to make sure the New Year would glisten

Now she's up and walking about
A birthday will not make her pout
And even though she is older
She no longer will smolder
Life's good without a doubt
